About weektake
What people really did with AI tools, week by week — one sentence each, no scores.
AI tools change every week, and benchmark scores rarely tell you what people really use. weektake asks people instead. You finish one sentence — “This week, I switched to …, because it …” — and we show the sentences as people wrote them.
Where things come from
- Sentences. What visitors tell us. No account is needed and we never ask who you are.
- Releases and “What changed”. Picked from public sources with an automated assistant, then checked by a human editor before publishing. Every claim links to its source.
How it works
- Sentence
- One line a person finished: “This week, I …”. We show it as they made it. When people make the same sentence, you see it once. Older weeks show it without “This week” — the week is above it.
- N people said this
- How many different people made this same sentence. One person counts once. We show it from 2 people.
- Me too
- You did the same this week. Tap it and you are counted too.
- Not me
- Your week was different. It opens the sentence so you can say yours.
- This week
- Monday to Sunday (UTC). Each Monday a new week starts. Older weeks stay as they were.
- App · Model · Building block
- An app is what you open and use. A model is the AI inside apps. A building block is a part that other tools use. The colour and icon show which one.
- Ways to use AI
- Where you meet AI: chat, coding, images and more. One tool can be in more than one.
- Company
- Who makes the tool. “Runs on” means the tool uses that company’s models.
- What changed
- Once a week, a short list of real changes to AI tools. Facts only, each with its source. Sometimes one item is a number about how people use AI, measured by someone else (a survey or public data) — never a company’s own claim or a benchmark.
- News
- One release or change, with a link to where it was published. Small tags say what kind: “Changed” is a change to an existing tool, “Guide” is how-to help, “Release note” is the maker’s own note. “Used it? Tell us” lets you say how it went.
- Words in a tool’s weeks
- The words people picked each week. Bold: more people. “new”: first time in the last 8 weeks. ↑ ↓: moved 2 or more places in that tool’s own list. We never compare tools with each other.
- First sentences
- The first week anyone wrote about a tool on weektake. It is not the day the tool came out.
